Chaduvukondi Firstuu ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") is an educational application that provides study materials, notes, and printing services for students. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

a. Information you provide directly

• Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your phone number. Your password is stored in encrypted (hashed) form and is never visible to us.
• Academic preferences: Your selected university, regulation, branch, semester, and subjects, used to show you relevant study materials.
• Print requests: Documents you submit for printing, along with delivery/pickup details you provide.

b. Information collected automatically

• Usage data: Materials you view, download, or mark as favourites; reward activity (daily logins, points earned and spent); and general app interaction data.
• Device information: Basic device details such as device model, operating system version, and app version, used for diagnostics and compatibility.
• Download data: Files you download are stored locally on your device so you can access them offline.

c. Information from third parties

• Advertising: If you choose to watch rewarded advertisements to earn points, our advertising partners may collect device identifiers and ad-interaction data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
• Payments: If you purchase a membership plan, payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store your card or banking details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account and authenticate you securely;
• Provide study materials relevant to your university, branch, and semester;
• Manage your downloads and make them available offline;
• Operate the rewards program (daily login bonuses, ad rewards, redemptions);
• Process membership upgrades and print orders;
• Send you notifications about new materials, rewards, and order status;
• Improve the App, fix bugs, and ensure security;
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

3. Permissions We Request

You can revoke permissions at any time through your device settings, though some features may stop working.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Your account is secured with token-based authentication (access and refresh tokens).
• Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
• Data is transmitted to our servers over secure connections.
• Locally downloaded files remain on your device and under your control.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Sharing

We only share your information in these limited situations:

• Service providers: Hosting, analytics, advertising, and payment partners who process data on our behalf;
• Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights;
• Business transfers: If the App is involved in a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction (you will be notified).

6. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

• We retain your account data for as long as your account is active.
• You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us (see Section 11). We will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
• Downloaded files stored on your device can be deleted by you at any time through the App or your device's file manager.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Delete your personal data;
• Withdraw consent for optional processing (e.g., notifications);
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

We use cookies and similar technologies to improve your experience, analyze site traffic, personalize content, and support advertising and marketing activities where you have provided consent.
